Nostrangled

The Nostrand Avenue subway station on the A/C line in Brooklyn, continues to puzzle: on the lower platform level, haphazard replacement of tiles has occluded several of the repetitions of the station name...

NOSTR...

...AN...

...TRAND...

...D...

... [crickets...]

I said that the station continues to puzzle me, because of something I saw there in June 2013,which also involved the tiling and the station name.
