Stamen Design has rendered Google Maps as if they have been painted by a watercolorist.

Mapping of a very different kind, this video shows what our planet would look like if it had rings like Saturn does -- what views one could expect from the earth, of the rings, during the day and night. I found this more fascinating than I thought -- how utterly different so much of collective human experience would be!
